Netanyahu Shared AI Image of Arab Voters, BBC Verify Reports

BBC Verify reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared an image of Arab voters created with artificial intelligence during Israel's election. The BBC said the image was described as showing Arab-Israelis queuing to vote.
An Arab alliance accused Netanyahu of using a fake image to exaggerate voter turnout, according to Anadolu Agency.
Ahmad Tibi, an Arab lawmaker, said turnout in Jewish towns remains significantly higher than in Arab communities. His remarks were also reported by Anadolu Agency.
The row follows a warning from Netanyahu about a surge in Arab voter participation, as Reuters reported on 27 October. Reuters said polls suggested Netanyahu's coalition, the group of parties that backs his government, could lose its majority in parliament.
Arab-Israelis make up a substantial part of the country's citizens, and their turnout has often been closely watched in elections. Reuters reported that Arab leaders had described Netanyahu's warning as a tactic.
