The independent feature Still Yours has finished shooting and is now in post-production, the stage where a film is edited, scored and finished for the screen, according to Deadline, published on 28 October 2026.

The film is written and directed by Chris Shaw. It is his feature directorial debut, the first full-length film he has directed. Shaw also produces, alongside Jake Kelley and Justin Machleit. Michael Petrovich is the executive producer, and Trevor Hollander is an associate producer and the cinematographer, the person who oversees how the film looks on camera.

The story follows Jack, played by Gavin Leatherwood, and his girlfriend Grace, played by Hermione Corfield. Richard Speight, Jr. plays Jack's father, Roy. The wider cast includes Patrick Luwis, Julie Ann Emery, Jackson Pace, Tabitha Petrini and Ian Lyons.

Much of the film was set on the North Shore of Massachusetts, the stretch of coast north of Boston, which serves as its backdrop.

The filmmakers are now talking to prospective distribution partners and aiming for a theatrical release. A distributor is the company that books a film into cinemas and sells it to other markets, so those talks decide how, and whether, a wide audience will see the film on a big screen.

For a small film, that stage can be the hardest. An independent production pays for the shoot and the edit itself, then has to convince a distributor to take on the cost of advertising and release. Many films finish shooting and wait a long time before a cinema date is set, and some never reach cinemas at all.

What happens next will be set by the people now editing the picture and the partners the team chooses to speak with. No release date has been set, and nothing is yet known about when audiences might see the film.
