19-year-old dies after masked gunmen fire into crowd outside Brisbane pub

A 19-year-old woman, Vana-Reese Schuster-Togiatau, has died after masked gunmen opened fire into a crowd outside Fitzy's Loganholme, a pub in Brisbane's south, The Guardian reported. She died at Princess Alexandra Hospital on Thursday morning.
Schuster-Togiatau, from Jimboomba, was hit in the head and neck. Queensland Police received reports of shots fired at Loganholme at 8.15pm on the evening of Saturday 24 October, and said the shots were fired from a vehicle. ABC News reported that two masked men carried out the shooting.
The pub was hosting a boxing event that night. According to ABC News, Schuster-Togiatau was one of four people shot during the event. 7News reported that she was an innocent bystander when the gunfire broke out.
Three men, aged 27, 37 and 38, were also taken to hospital. One of them is recovering from surgery, and the other two have been released.
About 80 police officers are working on the murder investigation. Police have also said there was "no concern" of retaliation following the shooting. Fitzy's is on Bryants Road at Loganholme.
