Production has wrapped on A Girl Like Rose, a feature documentary about Belgian supermodel Rose Bertram. "Wrapped" means the filming is finished. The film is scheduled for release in 2027, according to Deadline, which reported the news on 30 October 2026.

The film follows Bertram's working life as a model. It also follows her family life, and how she has coped with her mother's struggles with addiction. Her mother, Maria, is featured in the documentary.

Filming took six years. The story moves between three very different places: Cannes, Ibiza and Los Angeles. Each one shows a different side of the modelling world, from the film festival and the island nightlife to the American fashion industry.

The film comes from Amsterdam-based SUPER7EVEN Productions and filmmaker Jonathan de Jong. Bastiaan Brand is the creative producer, which means he helps shape the film's overall story and how it is made. Bob Thole composed the score.

Distribution is set in two countries so far. High Mass is handling the film in Belgium, and MN Media is handling it in the Netherlands. A distributor is the company that sells a film to cinemas, broadcasters and streaming services, and decides where and when audiences can see it.

For a film built around one family, the six-year timeline stands out. It means the camera stayed with its subjects through many years of change, rather than a single season of work. Audiences will have to wait until 2027 to see how those years were put together.
