Fifteen Female Producers From 12 Countries Chosen for Series' Women 2026

The Erich Pommer Institut (EPI) has picked 15 female producers from 12 countries for the sixth edition of Series' Women, a leadership programme for women who make European television drama.
A producer is the person who brings a series together. They secure the money, hire the crew and keep the schedule on track. Series' Women is built to help women do that job at a higher level. It was launched in 2021 and describes itself as the first leadership and career programme designed only for female producers in Europe's drama series industry.
The programme is funded by Creative Europe – MEDIA, the European Union scheme that supports film and audiovisual work. Series Mania Forum, the festival-linked industry event based in Lille, France, is the programme's event partner. Participants also get networking time at TV Drama Vision, presented by the Göteborg Film Festival in Sweden, and at Series Mania Forum itself.
The class is larger in country count than last year. The EPI selected 15 female producers from 10 countries for the fifth edition, according to a 2025 report from The Hollywood Reporter. This year's group spans 12 countries.
Applications for Series' Women, and for its sister programme Audiovisual Women, were open until 4 September 2026. Creative Europe Ireland published the deadline in August. Audiovisual Women is an EPI career programme offered alongside Series' Women.
For the 15 women named, the next step is the programme itself. Each one joins a group of peers from across Europe, and each one brings a current or future drama series with her into the room.
