Svedka Hands Its Next Super Bowl Ad to Fans, With $500,000 on Offer

Svedka Vodka wants fans to make its next Super Bowl commercial, and the contest offers $500,000. The brand announced the contest on November 2, 2026, and it is open to anyone aged 21 or older.
Entrants must create a 15-second ad for Svedka Vodka Water. Submissions go through biggamecontest.svedka.com and are accepted from 12:01am ET on November 2 until 11:59pm ET on December 1, 2026. ET means Eastern Time in the United States.
Andy Cohen, the television host, has been tapped to help judge the entries. Svedka has also secured 30 seconds of ad time during Super Bowl LXI, the 61st championship game, which Disney will broadcast. A 30-second slot is the standard way brands buy space in the game, and it is one of the most expensive pieces of advertising airtime in the United States.
Svedka is owned by Sazerac, the spirits company that bought the brand in 2024. The contest is a second Super Bowl effort for the brand. Its first, which Sazerac described in a December 2025 press release, starred the Svedka mascot, a robot called Fembot. That ad was made with the help of artificial intelligence, a detail that drew strong reactions. Adweek described the debut as polarizing and controversial.
This time, the brand is handing the creative work to the public. Svedka is asking people to bring their own ideas, and the winning entry will be judged against the other submissions by a panel that includes Cohen. Svedka has not said how the winner will be chosen beyond that panel, or when the winner will be announced.
For fans, the contest is a simple way in. Anyone over 21 with a phone and a 15-second idea can enter before the December 1 deadline. For the brand, it is a fresh test of whether a crowd can do what its own agency did last time, with the Super Bowl stage waiting at the end of it.
