Apple reported $57.58 billion in iPhone revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter of 2026, up 17 percent year over year, according to The Verge. Total revenue for the quarter was $114.5 billion, up 12 percent. The quarter ended September 26, 2026, and Apple announced the results on Monday, November 2, 2026, ahead of a results conference call at 2:00 p.m.

Mac revenue reached $10.79 billion, up 24 percent year over year. Services revenue was $31.57 billion. iPad revenue was $6.23 billion, down 10 percent. These figures match Apple's own press release, posted to its Newsroom.

The iPhone line changed shape during the period. The iPhone 18 lineup launched in September 2026 and included the pricier iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Apple did not release a standard iPhone model in this refresh, so the quarter's iPhone figure reflects a launch cycle built around the higher-priced Pro tier.

Apple also disclosed a product it has not yet counted. Preorders for the iPhone Duo, which the company describes as its first folding phone, were not included in the fourth-quarter report. Any revenue from that device will fall outside the figures reported this week.

The quarter continues a run of double-digit growth. Apple's third-quarter 2026 results showed revenue of $109.4 billion, up 16 percent, and a gross margin (the share of each sales dollar left after the cost of making the product) of 50.1 percent. The second quarter brought $111.2 billion, up 17 percent, and diluted earnings per share (profit per share, counting shares that could be issued through stock options and similar instruments) of $2.01, up 22 percent. The first quarter of 2026 was the largest of the year so far at $143.8 billion, up 16 percent, with diluted EPS of $2.84, up 19 percent. The fourth quarter of 2025 reported $102.5 billion, up 8 percent.

iPhone has also beaten expectations this year. In the fiscal first quarter, iPhone revenue reached $85.27 billion against analyst expectations of $78.65 billion, according to Reuters. In the third quarter, iPhone sales rose 21.7 percent to $54.25 billion, compared with an estimate of $53.86 billion, as Reuters reported.

The broader context here is a company whose hardware cycle and services base are now moving in different directions. iPhone and Mac carried the quarter's growth while iPad contracted. Services, at more than $31 billion for the period, adds revenue that does not depend on a single launch window. For anyone tracking the Pro-heavy iPhone 18 cycle, the open question is how much of the $57.58 billion reflects the price of the new models and how much reflects unit demand. The disclosed figures do not separate the two, and the Duo's exclusion means the next foldable-related revenue question will arrive in a later report.

In my view, the quarter is most useful as a benchmark for the next cycle. Growth of 17 percent on iPhone, 24 percent on Mac and 12 percent overall leaves little room for a weaker launch, and it gives the Duo a clear reporting window once preorder revenue is recognized. Whether the Pro models can sustain that pace into the next refresh is the question the market will test first.
