BBC Sport releases inside story of Fury v Joshua rivalry
BBC Sport has published Rivals: Fury v Joshua, a video that tells the story of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua's rivalry through witnesses from inside both camps. A boxer's camp is the group of trainers, coaches and support staff who prepare him for a fight.
The two heavyweights are set to meet on 11 December. Heavyweight is boxing's top weight class, with no upper limit, and both men are among its best-known names. Promoter Frank Warren spoke ahead of the fight being confirmed, and the bout has since been announced for that date.
The rivalry has been building for some time. After Fury's comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov in April, he said he wanted to face Joshua. BBC Sport's earlier video, published on 30 October, looks at how the rivalry began, with boxing experts and members of both camps weighing in.
The new film has a companion on the BBC's audio and TV services. Fans can watch Rivals: Fury v Joshua on BBC iPlayer from Tuesday 10 November. The same day, 5 Live Boxing: Fury v Joshua arrives on BBC Sounds.
For those who want more, a BBC programme called It's Definitely On: Fury v Joshua covers the pair's press conference in London. Buncey and Barry Jones join Stacey Copeland to discuss what came out of it when the two men came face to face.
Fury has also been the subject of a separate documentary. Netflix's TYSON FURY runs for 90 minutes, and the streamer says it follows the rise, fall and redemption of the Fury story, with exclusive access to Fury himself. Lucy Wilcox directed it.
Why does this matter to a casual viewer? Rivalries in boxing often take years to turn into fights, and the wait can make the stakes feel personal. This video gives the people closest to the two men a chance to explain how that feeling built up. Fight night is still more than a month away, so there is time to catch up before the first bell.
