Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul Announce New Album Mainland Madinina and 2027 Tour

Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul have announced a new album, Mainland Madinina, and tour dates in North America and Europe for 2027. Pitchfork reported the news on 3 November 2026.

The album follows Topical Dancer. Soulwax, the producers who worked on that record, have again produced the new one. It will be released through Soulwax's Deewee label alongside Because, a label partnership in which two companies share the release. The album is scheduled for 5 February 2027, according to the duo's website.

The record has 12 tracks: "Restless," "GooGoo Gaga," "Stepmother," "Mana," "From Healer to Dealer," "Saint-Lucia," "Pleaser to Meet You," "Losing My Shit," "Délirez-Vous?," "Dad or Alive," "Rite of Passage" and "I'm Lost."

Two songs have already reached listeners. The duo returned in September with "Googoo Gaga," a song about parenthood. "From Healer to Dealer" takes aim at wellness culture, the booming trend around health and self-improvement, through two characters named Grace and Ruben. Lennert Madou directed its video.

The duo has also announced 2027 tour dates in North America and Europe. A listing on Resident Advisor, a site that tracks club and live events, shows a performance at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, though the listing does not carry a date.

For fans, the next fixed date is the album's release in early February. The tour dates will be the place to check for a show nearer home.
