Kim Kardashian has said she will retake the California bar exam, the licensing test that people must pass to practise law in the state. In an interview with the BBC, she said her aim is to become a lawyer in real life.

Kardashian said she had studied law for six years before failing the bar exam. She learned the result after the first series of the Hulu legal drama All's Fair aired last year, a show in which she plays a lawyer.

Speaking to the BBC's Annabel Rackham, she said: "I'll take it again and let you guys know once I've passed. I'll be very vocal about that." She also said she is going to be "a little more quiet about my journey" until she passes the exam.

The interview took place alongside her All's Fair co-star Naomi Watts, ahead of the show's second series.

Kardashian's legal training is not new. Reuters has reported that she has been training to become an attorney since 2019. Earlier, Reuters reported that she had passed California's preliminary law exam known as the "baby bar" on her fourth attempt.
