Snowstorm, the production company behind the Channel 4 film Molly Vs The Machines, has hired Joe Ingham as an executive producer, according to Deadline, published on 4 November 2026.

An executive producer is the senior person who backs a project, helps find the money and keeps the overall vision on track. The role sits above the teams who shoot and edit the programmes.

Ingham was previously head of development and executive producer at Vice Studios. Head of development is the job of finding new ideas and turning them into projects that a broadcaster or streamer might buy. His credits include Ross Kemp: Lost Boys, Deadly Men and EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square, two very different programmes that show the range of factual and drama-linked work he has handled.

Snowstorm was launched in 2022 by Neil Blair and Kat Mansoor. Blair now serves as the company's chair, the person who leads its board. The company's best-known recent titles include Molly Vs The Machines, a Channel 4 film about the British teenager Molly Russell, and Björk: Cornucopia for Apple.

For the people who make these shows, a senior hire is one of the steady, behind-the-scenes moves that keeps a company growing. Executive producers are often the first call when a team is planning its next project.
