Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Ed Miliband played steel drums in Antigua and Barbuda, during a trip linked to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), a summit of leaders from Commonwealth countries. The BBC reported that the prime minister and the foreign secretary attended the meeting.
The two men visited the Hells Gate Orchestra Steel Pan Yard in St John's, Antigua. Steel drums, also called steel pans, are instruments made from oil drums that are tuned to produce melodies.
Burnham played "Mary Had A Little Lamb" on a steel drum, according to the Independent. He was told "you're a musician" after he played, as ITV News reported.
Ed Miliband joined in after Burnham began playing, the Telegraph reported.
