Kimmarie Johnson, Actress and Former Beauty Queen, Dies at 50

Kimmarie Johnson, an actress who appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210, died on Wednesday, November 4, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. She was 50.
Deadline reported that her niece, Rhonda Scott, announced the death. Her death followed a cardiac emergency the week before. Johnson had suffered a heart aneurysm, which is a weak, bulging spot in the wall of a blood vessel.
Scott later spoke to TMZ about the death, according to reports from Page Six and E! News.
Johnson was born Kim Marie Johnson on April 8, 1976, in Pittsburgh. She began her public life in beauty pageants. In 1992 she won the Miss Pennsylvania USA title. A year later she finished in the top five at the Miss USA pageant in 1993.
She moved into acting in the late 1990s. In 1998 she played a character named Jane in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210, the teen drama that followed a group of friends in Southern California. Two years later she had a role in the comedy film Dude, Where's My Car?, where she played one of five aliens disguised as "jumpsuit chicks." She also appeared in an episode of the series V.I.P. in 2000.
Johnson's family life was part of her later years. She gave birth to a son, Cameron Nino, in 2003. In 2011 she launched a skincare brand called SkinGlow by Kimmarie, which put her name on products sold to shoppers.
Her final acting credit was the 2017 series Tucker's War, according to Deadline. That was the last time she appeared on screen in a role listed on her record.
Johnson was 50. Her death leaves her son, her family and the friends she made across the pageant, television and business worlds. Her niece's announcement was the first public word from the family.
