Abramorama Picks Up North American Rights to Documentary The Fight to Fight

Abramorama has acquired North American distribution rights to The Fight to Fight, a documentary, The Hollywood Reporter reported on November 5, 2026. The company plans a nationwide theatrical release in March 2027. North American means the United States and Canada.
The film was directed by Joy Bronson, a former U.S. Navy pilot who also produced it. Mark Romanov co-directed. Richard Hutton and Joe Skorupa are producers, and Sean Mullin is executive producer. The film is presented in association with ROCO Films. It features former Air Force Captain Chrissy Houlahan.
Before the spring release, audiences get two early looks. Sneak preview screenings are planned for November 11, 2026, at the Regal Union Square cinema in New York City and the Regal Gallery Place cinema in Washington, D.C. Each preview will be followed by an onstage conversation with members of the film's team.
November 11 is Veterans Day in the United States. The film's Facebook page announced two 7 PM special event screenings for the holiday, and tickets went on sale in late October. Anyone wanting a seat will need to check the film's page or the theatre listings for the venues and times.
A distributor buying North American rights takes on the job of getting a film into cinemas, marketing it and booking screens. It usually pays the producers for those rights, and in return it keeps the money that comes in from ticket sales in its territory. Abramorama has handled a range of documentaries and music films for theatres, so a spring 2027 date gives the film a window of several months to build interest before it opens widely.
For now, the film's path is clear: a few cities this month, then a nationwide opening planned for March. Further dates, including any wider rollout beyond the planned release, have not been announced.
