Prince Harry Spotted in New York on Unannounced Trip

Prince Harry was spotted at the Lotte New York Palace hotel in Midtown Manhattan on Monday evening, on a trip that had not been announced. A spokesperson confirmed to HELLO! that he had a number of meetings in the city "focused on new business opportunities and partnerships."
The visit was brief. By Wednesday he was back in London, where he gave a keynote speech at the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards. The ceremony took place in the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, a historic building in south-east London with richly painted ceilings.
At the event, Harry announced that Wanderlust, the travel publication, had joined Travalyst. Travalyst is a sustainable travel initiative that he has supported. He last visited New York in September, when he spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative, a annual gathering of business and political leaders, on Travalyst's behalf.
The trip also came at a busy time for the couple's home life. Page Six reported that the visit came days after Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, had moved into a new home in the UK. Earlier, in August, Reuters reported that the couple planned to move back to Britain that month. They had stepped back from their roles as working royals and relocated to the United States in 2020.
Harry has also spoken about his relationship with his family. In October, he said he hoped to reconcile with King Charles and the rest of his family, Reuters reported.
Harry's New York meetings were described only in general terms, and the spokesperson did not name the partners involved. The Wanderlust and Travalyst announcement is the clearest item on the calendar.
