Britney Spears' 'Britney' turns 25 with an expanded edition and 11 bonus tracks

Britney Spears' 25th anniversary edition of her third studio album, 'Britney', was released on 6 November 2026, adding 11 bonus tracks to the original record, Billboard reported.
The original album first came out on 6 November 2001. The expanded version keeps the full original tracklist and adds the extra songs. The digital version is available now. A physical package, such as a CD or vinyl set, is due out on 22 January.
Five of the bonus songs have been officially released for the first time: "Right Now (Taste The Victory)", "She'll Never Be Me", "Am I A Sinner", "When I Say So" and "My Big Secret". Two remixes are also included. A remix is a new version of a song, reworked by a different producer. The two are "Overprotected (Darkchild Remix)" and "Boys (feat. Pharrell Williams) (The Co-Ed Remix)".
The original album has its own chart record. 'Britney' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the main US album chart, which ranks the week's most popular albums. Billboard reports that this made Spears the first female artist to have her first three studio albums debut at No. 1.
Anniversary editions are a common way for artists and labels to mark a milestone. For longtime listeners, the appeal is usually the extra material, and for newer fans it is a chance to hear an older record in a fresh package. The bonus songs are the part of this release that did not exist on store shelves in 2001.
The expanded edition is out now on digital services, and the physical release follows on 22 January.
