Billboard has published its 2026 Touring Power Players list, a roll call of executives who run the live music business. The list, published on 6 November 2026, opens with Josephine Vaccarello of MSG Entertainment, the company that runs Madison Square Garden and other New York venues. Billboard's list names the executives in the sector, from concert promoters to festival organisers.

Several names come from AEG, one of the largest live entertainment companies. Alex Hill is president and chief executive of AEG International, which handles shows outside North America. Jay Marciano is chairman and chief executive of AEG Presents, a promoter, meaning the company that books artists into venues and sells the tickets.

The list also includes independent companies. Will Suter and Stephen Vallimarescu are co-founders of All Things Go, the festival and touring business. Sherry Wasserman, Gregg Perloff and Allen Scott are named for Another Planet Entertainment, a promoter known for its work in New York.

Erika Elliott is executive artistic director of City Parks Foundation SummerStage, the free concert series held in New York's parks. She has spent 22 years at SummerStage and has led it since 2015. This summer, the series marked 40 years of giving New Yorkers free concerts.

Billboard also points to a surprise show in June. The rock band Goose played a pop-up concert at Central Park SummerStage the night after two shows at Madison Square Garden. A pop-up is an unannounced gig, often booked at short notice.

Behind every tour date sit promoters, venue staff, sound engineers, truck drivers and ticket sellers. Lists like this one name a handful of people at the top, but the work of a concert night is spread across many more. Anyone who has ever stood in a crowd at a park stage or a stadium has been part of that chain.
