Truro City v Folkestone Invicta postponed after Yassine En-Neyah taken to hospital

Truro City's National League South match at Folkestone Invicta was postponed on Saturday after their midfielder, Yassine En-Neyah, needed medical help during the warm-up.
The warm-up is the period before kick-off when players stretch, run and pass the ball to get ready. It was meant to start at 3:00pm, with the match due to kick off at 5:00pm at the Alcaline Stadium, according to Folkestone Invicta's matchday guide. Instead, the players never got that far.
Truro City said in a club statement that there had been a medical incident during the warm-up involving En-Neyah. The Guardian reported that he was given medical assistance on the pitch and then taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for further treatment. Yahoo Sports reported that a player collapsed during the warm-up.
Truro came into the weekend in a strong position. The BBC reported on 2 November that they had moved top of the table after beating Ebbsfleet. At that point they were one point clear of Maidstone United, with Ebbsfleet third, a point further back.
National League South is the sixth tier of English football, a long way from the television cameras, and the people at these clubs often know each other well. A postponement is a rearranged afternoon. For the players and staff who were on the pitch, it was a frightening one.
Nothing about the rearranged date has been settled yet. What matters most right now is En-Neyah's recovery, and everyone at both clubs will be hoping for good news from Ashford.
