Kidderminster Harriers have beaten League One side Doncaster Rovers to reach the second round of the FA Cup. The tie was played at Aggborough Stadium on Saturday 7 November 2026.

Harriers play in the National League, the top division outside the Football League. Doncaster are a level higher, in League One, the third tier of the English league system. The FA Cup brings together clubs from every level of English football, and the early rounds are where the smaller clubs get their chance against sides from higher up the pyramid.

Doncaster came to Worcestershire after being drawn away in the first round. Their manager, Grant McCann, and Harry Clifton gave their thoughts before the game in a club preview. Harriers' head coach, Paul Wotton, said he hoped a big crowd at Aggborough could help his side produce an upset against the League One team. Harriers' pre-match preview carried his comments.

Sam Austin also came back to Aggborough this week, and he spoke about what that meant to him before kick-off. Harriers marked the occasion with a matchday programme, Issue 10 of The Harrier, which was produced for the Doncaster game.

The next draw is already on the calendar. The second-round draw will be made live on TNT Sports on Monday 9 November. Each club is given a numbered ball before the draw, and the order in which the balls come out decides the pairings. Harriers were given ball No. 8 for the second round, so their place in the draw will come out in that order.

Harriers also had a new shirt to show off this week. The club launched a third kit on 5 November, and the shirt features a striking pink colourway. It is a limited-edition design made for a special occasion, according to the club's announcement.

For a non-league club, a cup run is about more than the prize money. It means a bigger stage, a fuller ground and a day that people in Kidderminster will talk about for a while. The next step is the draw on Monday, and the first chance to find out who Harriers will face in the second round.
