Cristiano Ronaldo is heading into scripted television. The football superstar will star in and executive produce "Day 1s," a drama series now filming in London, according to a report from The Sun that Deadline picked up on 27 July 2026.

The series tells a fictional story centred on Stanley Dalton, a UK soccer agent, played by Damian Lewis. Matthew Vaughn — the filmmaker behind the Kingsman franchise, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Layer Cake, and X-Men: First Class — is directing. The original idea comes from Darren Dein, a real-life football agent.

Ronaldo and Vaughn are producing the series through UR•Marv Studios, a joint venture between Ronaldo and Vaughn's Marv Studios. The partnership was first revealed in 2025, with the pair also collaborating on a trilogy of action films. According to UR•Marv's launch statement, the venture has already completed two action films, as noted by Deadline. "Day 1s" is the first television series to emerge from the venture.

The casting extends beyond football and film. Thierry Henry, the former Arsenal and France forward, and the British rapper Dave are reportedly set to feature in the series, per the same Deadline report, which credited The Sun as the original breaking outlet.
