Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament will release Since Forever, a photography book drawing on decades of backstage, studio and on-the-road images from the band's history, on 25 September 2026. Roughly 90 percent of the photos in the book have never been seen before, Ament told Rolling Stone.

Most of the images cover the years 1990 to 1998 — the stretch that began before Pearl Jam's 1991 debut Ten and ran through their first decade of recording and touring. The book is a 9-by-12-inch hardcover, available for pre-order through Pearl Jam's official Ten Club store, and is described on its product page as "a deeply personal visual journal of creativity, friendship, and life on the road" (Pearl Jam Shop). A press release cited by Rolling Stone expands the framing, calling the volume "at once a visual memoir, and a deeply personal visual journal of creativity, friendship, and life on the road."

Ament built the project with his brother, designer Barry Ament. The collaboration pairs Jeff's photographs with Barry's design work, shaping a family-made document rather than one assembled by an outside publisher. Pearl Jam's official website announced the book on 28 July 2026 (Pearl Jam), with Rolling Stone publishing its feature the following day.

The book tour begins at the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California, with appearances scheduled for 25 and 27 September — the release date itself and the festival's closing weekend. Jeff and Barry Ament are both set to appear.

For a band that has spent over three decades in the public eye, the draw here is simple: these are pictures almost nobody has seen. The 1990–1998 window covers Pearl Jam's formation, their breakout, and the years that followed — a period fans know from a handful of official releases and press shots. Ament's archive, shot from inside the room, fills in the gaps with material he kept to himself. Whether Since Forever will satisfy casual readers or speak mainly to the dedicated fan base is a question the September release will answer.
