"Ah Ha" arrives after a busy stretch for the Bronx rapper. Her album Am I The Drama?, the long-awaited follow-up to her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy, featured guest spots from Cash Cobain, Tyla, Selena Gomez, Janet Jackson, and Lizzo. She supported it with the Little Miss Drama Tour, which ran from February through April 2026 (Rolling Stone).

The new single also lands with a political edge. In one of its bars, Cardi B raps: "I'll give a ho exactly what she want in this bitch / Black trucks at the club, look like Trump in this bitch, fuck him." Cardi B has publicly criticised Donald Trump on multiple occasions over the years, and the line slots into that pattern rather than breaking from it (Rolling Stone).
