Cameras are rolling in Los Angeles on Bulldogs, a cold-case crime thriller starring Josh Henderson, with Deadline publishing the first exclusive images from the production on 3 August 2026 (Deadline).

Henderson plays a gifted LASD detective — that is, a detective with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department — who lets his filmmaker ex-wife document the reopening of a notorious unsolved case. Sade Katarina plays the ex-wife, and the two share executive-producer credit on the project. Katarina is producing under her Effloresce Entertainment banner (Deadline).

The film is written and directed by Cole Mueller, marking his third feature. Mueller's earlier credits include the crime series Limited Edition (Deadline).

Henderson is best known to television audiences as John Ross Ewing III, the scheming son he played across TNT's revival of Dallas from 2012 to 2014. That role, pitched in the long shadow of the original 1980s prime-time soap, gave him a profile that an indie thriller can leverage as a calling card for the genre-festival circuit.
