Beyoncé released a four-track remix pack for her single "Morning Dew (Donk)" early on Wednesday morning, August 5, 2026, with the headline draw being a rare new verse from Jay-Z (Billboard).

The pack includes four cuts, two of which feature Jay-Z. One of those appearances is what appears to be a duplicate of the same remix, according to Pitchfork. The remaining tracks are an acoustic version — dubbed "4:44" for its runtime — that does not include Jay-Z, and a separate "Donk Mix."

The Jay-Z version is also set to appear on a 20th anniversary reissue of Beyoncé's album B'Day, which was originally released in 2006 (Pitchfork).

"Morning Dew (Donk)" builds on a stack of well-known samples. The remix draws from Soulja Boy's "Donk" and the Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets," and includes interpolations — the reworking of a melody or lyric without using the original recording — of Sheck Wes's "Mo Bamba" (Pitchfork).

The original single was co-written with Pharrell, The-Dream, and Darius Dixson, and produced by Pharrell and Beyoncé herself. The music video is copyrighted to Parkwood Entertainment LLC — Beyoncé's entertainment and management company — and distributed under exclusive license to Columbia Records, a Sony Music label (YouTube).

For Beyoncé listeners, the appeal is straightforward: Jay-Z guest verses have become infrequent enough that each one registers as an event in its own right. That the same remix is slotted for the B'Day reissue gives the track a second life beyond the streaming pack, tying a 2026 single back to an album turning twenty.
