Beatport's dance music industry conference, Beatport Connect, is returning to the W Hollywood hotel on 25 September 2026 for its second Los Angeles edition — and this time it is doubling its space. Billboard

Where the inaugural L.A. event ran a single room, the 2026 edition will feature two rooms of programming. One will focus on cultural, technological and industry trends shaping electronic music; the other will host practical sessions on artist career development. The expansion follows Beatport Connect's first New York edition, which was held in July. Billboard

Confirmed speakers span labels, agencies, platforms and artist management. Industry names include Adrienne Fitzpatrick of Warner Records, Bailey Greenwood of the booking agency WME, Maddy Savage of the independent label Ninja Tune, Matt Gralen of Beatport, Maurice Slade of SoundCloud, and Nicholas Douglas of Notion. Artists Kitty Amor, MPH, salute, and Wuki are also confirmed to speak. Billboard

Conversation topics will cover the future of electronic music, building sustainable artist careers, opportunities in synch licensing — the licensing of music for film, television and advertising — and the changing landscape of festivals and live events. Brands including Musical Beings, Hisong, Beatport.io and Gigwell will also have a presence at the event. Billboard

The day will open with a breakfast presented in association with Her Dancefloor, an organisation that champions and connects women in dance music. Beatport chief brand officer Ed Hill said the conference brings artists, promoters, labels, technologists and fans together to share ideas and build new relationships. Billboard

The first Beatport Connect L.A. took place on 26 September 2025 at the same W Hollywood venue, with speakers including the duo Sofi Tukker, DJ Minx, and Moody Jones. Beatportal
