Corie Henson Exits as President of MrBeast's Beast Industry Studios to Return to Los Angeles

Corie Henson has stepped down as President of Beast Industry Studios, the production company behind MrBeast's expanding entertainment empire, to move back to Los Angeles and be closer to her family. Deadline
Henson joined the company in September 2025, arriving from NBCUniversal, where she was EVP of Unscripted Content, Competition and Game Shows and oversaw series including America's Got Talent, The Voice, The Traitors and Love Island. Before NBCUniversal, she held unscripted roles at Warner Bros. Discovery, Fox, Electus and ABC. Deadline
Much of her tenure was spent in Greenville, North Carolina, where Beast Industries is headquartered. The role originally required splitting her time between Greenville and Los Angeles, but Henson has now opted to return to the West Coast full-time. Deadline
Her departure is amicable. Jimmy Donaldson — the creator known as MrBeast — and Jeff Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries, are both supportive of the decision, according to Deadline. Henson will stay on to help with the transition while the studio begins searching for her replacement. It is unclear whether that replacement will fill the same role in the same way. Deadline
During her roughly year-long tenure, Henson guided world-building and storytelling across Donaldson's content operations, which include the main MrBeast YouTube channel with over 510 million subscribers. The studio's highest-profile project, Beast Games, the Amazon competition series hosted by Donaldson, has wrapped production on its third season. Amazon previously renewed the show for two further seasons. Deadline; Deadline
Housenbold has publicly stated his ambition to turn Beast Industries into "the next Disney," a goal that makes the choice of Henson's successor a closely watched one across the unscripted and digital-content landscape. Deadline
When she took the job last year, Henson said in a statement: "MrBeast rewired how millions of people consume entertainment. I'm beyond thrilled to join Jimmy and Jeff to help build what comes next." Deadline
Now the building continues without her — and the question of who steps into that seat is open.
