Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Goes Live — Multiplayer Servers and Launch Times Confirmed

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a 4-v-4 fighting game from Arc System Works, launches on 6 August 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC, with multiplayer servers going live across global regions throughout the day.
Developer Arc System Works confirmed the server go-live times via an Instagram post on 6 August 2026, covering the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia. In North America, servers switch on at 8:00 AM PDT / 11:00 AM EDT. UK players get access at 4:00 PM BST, with mainland Europe following at 5:00 PM CEST. Brazilian players can jump in at 11:00 AM Brasília time, according to the same post (GameSpot).
For anyone unfamiliar with the format, a 4-v-4 fighting game pits two teams of four characters against each other, with players tagging between roster members mid-match. Arc System Works is the studio behind acclaimed anime-style fighters including Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball FighterZ, and their signature hand-drawn visual style carries into Marvel Tokon.
The roster spans a wide stretch of Marvel characters, from Spider-Man to Storm. One standout is Deadpool, described by GameSpot as playing "like a fighting game highlight reel" — a character built around flashy, attention-grabbing combos. A Carnage character guide was also released ahead of launch to help players get to grips with that fighter's toolkit.
Ahead of the full launch, an open beta ran from 24–26 July on PS5 and PC. The beta showcased accessibility-focused mechanics: repeat-button combos, where pressing the same button strings together attacks, and one-button special moves, which map powerful attacks to a single input rather than complex directional combinations. These design choices aim to lower the barrier for newcomers while preserving depth for experienced players.
For PC buyers, the game is available for preorder at US$54 through the storefront Fanatical — a 10% saving compared to buying it directly. The game supports both PS5 and PC, with no cross-platform purchase program announced.
Arc System Works has built a reputation for fighting games that balance competitive depth with visual flair, and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls pairs that craft with one of entertainment's most recognisable character libraries. With servers now live worldwide, the first wave of matches is already underway.
