Amazon Backs Texas Gas Plant That Would Become the Largest Carbon Polluter in the U.S.

Amazon is backing an on-site natural gas power plant in Pecos County, Texas, that would be permitted to release up to 33 million tons of carbon dioxide per year — more than any other power plant in the United States.
