Arsenal Sign Bruno Guimaraes for £75m as Arteta Hints at More Business
Arsenal have completed the signing of Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for £75m, unveiling the Brazilian midfielder to fans inside Emirates Stadium before Saturday's friendly against Borussia Dortmund (BBC Sport).

The arrival adds to an already deep midfield group. Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubimendi, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, Eberechi Eze and Mikel Merino are all on the books, meaning Arteta now has options that would be the envy of most clubs in Europe. Guimaraes is the latest piece, not the only one.
He is also not the last arrival of Arsenal's summer. The club had already signed forward Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge and brought in goalkeeper Illan Meslier on a free transfer.
