Meta Teamed Up With Lisa to Make New Smart Glasses

Meta announced two new smart glasses made with Lisa of Blackpink at Meta Connect 2026. They are sold as Meta Glasses by Lisa and were shown with other frame, price and availability news. Engadget
The Meta Adventurer Lisa Edition has rectangular frames in a see-through light gray-blue color called Moonlit Sky, with light pink Blush lenses. The Meta Capri Lisa Edition has a new Capri shape, a darker cat-eye frame with grey lenses. The styles are different. The electronics inside are the same.
Both have a small star on the tips of the arms. Both come with a special charging box with a star design, plus small charms shaped like Lisa's pets. What the glasses can do has not changed.
They have the same Meta AI helper, speakers and camera as earlier Meta smart glasses. They can be ordered with prescription lenses, lenses matched to your eyesight. App makers do not need to learn a new system.
Both Lisa models start at $399, higher than Meta's usual $299 starting price. Meta is also selling a black Meta Adventurer frame with a simple plug-in charging case for $249, for buyers who do not need the special case.
Meta also showed two other frames. There is an Ivory off-white Starfire frame for the Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner line. There is a new Nova frame for regular Meta Glasses.
Meta Glasses also went on sale in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates. Meta plans to sell them in Brazil soon.
The broader context here is simple. Think of it like the same phone sold in different colors and cases. Meta is keeping what the glasses do the same while testing which looks people want. The buyer picks shape, color and case. The price gap from $249 to $399 comes from design and case, not new features.
In my view, selling in more countries is the harder job. More stores means more eye tests, lens fitting and customer help. Famous names may bring people into stores at first. Over time, people will keep using the glasses only if the helper, sound and camera fit daily life. If Meta can keep the technology steady while adding looks, prices and countries, it can sell glasses the way glasses are usually sold.
