Disney has licensed six podcasts from iHeartMedia to stream as video on Disney+ and Hulu, with the Jonas Brothers' "Hey Jonas!" leading the charge on 14 August — the same day "Camp Rock 3" premieres on Disney+ (Variety).

The deal brings "Hey Jonas!", "Pod Meets World", "Desperately Devoted", "Fake Doctors, Real Friends With Zach and Donald", "StraightioLab", and "Thanks Dad With Ego Nwodim" to Disney's streaming platforms in the coming months, with weekly episode releases. "Hey Jonas!" debuts simultaneously on both Disney+ and Hulu, its first episode tied to the "Camp Rock 3" premiere. Additional episodes will feature Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas live at Disney's D23 fan event that same weekend.

From there, the six shows split across the two platforms. "Pod Meets World" — a rewatch podcast for the ABC sitcom "Boy Meets World" — gets video editions on Disney+. The other four head to Hulu, available to U.S. bundle subscribers through Hulu on Disney+. "Desperately Devoted" begins streaming with video for the first time on 2 November, aimed at driving fans back to rewatch "Desperate Housewives". "Fake Doctors, Real Friends", hosted by Zach Braff and Donald Faison, arrives on Hulu later this year, tied to revisiting "Scrubs".

Lauren Tempest, Disney's head of direct-to-consumer content planning and partnerships, and Bob Pittman, iHeartMedia's chairman and CEO, each commented on the pact in statements, though the specific terms of the licensing agreement have not been disclosed (Variety).

The Jonas Brothers launched "Hey Jonas!" as an audio and video podcast through an iHeartPodcasts deal announced on 20 May, with the show premiering the following day (iHeartMedia; Inside Radio). The band was also among the nominees for the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, whose nominees were jointly announced by iHeartMedia and FOX Entertainment (iHeartMedia).

For Disney, the deal adds to a growing podcast shelf. Disney+ and Hulu already carry rewatch podcasts like "The Mess Around With Hannah and Lamorne" ("New Girl"), "Prison Breaking With Sarah and Paul" ("Prison Break"), and "That Was Us" ("This Is Us"), alongside companion podcasts for series including "Paradise", "American Idol", "Dancing With the Stars", and FX's "The Shards".

For iHeartMedia, the Disney pact extends a licensing push that already reached Netflix. Netflix's deal with iHeartMedia, reported in June, includes video podcasts such as Charlamagne tha God's "The Breakfast Club" and shows from Martha Stewart and Lele Pons, covering both new episodes and select library content (Reuters). That agreement followed talks first reported in November 2025 (Bloomberg). NBCUniversal's UCP division has also signed a multiyear first-look deal with iHeartMedia to adapt podcasts into television (iHeartMedia).

What makes the Disney deal notable is how each podcast is slotted alongside a specific title on a specific platform — a rewatch podcast for "Scrubs" on Hulu, a "Boy Meets World" show on Disney+, a Jonas Brothers episode timed to a "Camp Rock 3" premiere. The podcasts are not arriving as a standalone library; they are being placed next to the shows they talk about.
