Georgina Campbell Signs With Anonymous Content as Her Slate Fills Up

Georgina Campbell has signed with Anonymous Content for representation, the latest career move for an actress whose credits stretch from BAFTA-winning television to one of the most profitable horror films of recent years. Variety reported the signing on 10 August 2026.

Campbell's breakout came in Zach Cregger's Barbarian (2022), a horror film that opened at No. 1 at the domestic box office — the United States and Canada — and grossed more than $45 million worldwide against a budget of roughly $4 million. Before Barbarian, she had already made history: in 2015, she became the first non-white actress to win the BAFTA TV Award for best leading actress, for her performance in the BBC TV movie Murdered by My Boyfriend. That award, from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, is among the highest honours in UK television.

Born in Maidstone, Kent, Campbell has kept a foot in both film and television. She appeared in the 2017 Black Mirror episode "Hang the DJ" and has credits across Broadchurch, His Dark Materials, Flowers, and Soulmates. Her recent film work includes Bird Box Barcelona (2023), The Watchers (2024), and Influencers (2025), along with Cold Storage and Psycho Killer, both released in February 2026. The upcoming slate gives Campbell's new representation plenty to work with. She will reunite with Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker on his untitled detective series for Netflix, which also stars Paddy Considine and Lena Headey. Campbell is also set to star opposite David Dastmalchian in The Shepherd, a horror film about a young woman in labour on the run from her abusive ex.
