Angus Sampson signs with Buchwald and Sweeney Entertainment
Australian actor and filmmaker Angus Sampson has signed with Buchwald and Sweeney Entertainment for representation. Deadline reported the deal on 22 September 2026. In practice, that means new backing in the United States for acting jobs and deal-making. It is a team addition, not a clean break.
Television audiences will know him as Cisco in The Lincoln Lawyer. That is Netflix's legal drama from producer David E. Kelley. A legal drama, meaning a series centred on lawyers and the law.
The film numbers are large. Films featuring Sampson have collectively grossed more than $1.75 billion worldwide, according to Deadline. Collective means total ticket sales added together across many titles. Not one film. The whole shelf.
Two of those titles come from the Mad Max world. He played the Organic Mechanic in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga opposite Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth. He also appeared in Mad Max: Fury Road alongside Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy.
