Karol G's 'No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto' Wins Billboard's New Music Latin Poll With Over 62% of the Vote

Karol G's sixth studio album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, has won Billboard's New Music Latin poll for the week of August 7, taking more than 62 percent of the reader vote. The 14-track set, released that same day through her own Bichota Records label, finished well ahead of the runner-up, Ryan Castro and Feid's single "Mentira" (Billboard).
The poll result caps a strong debut week for the album. No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto entered the Top Latin Albums chart at No. 1 and the all-genre Billboard 200 — the flagship US album ranking — at No. 3, according to Billboard (Billboard). The track "Ahí," a collaboration with Drake, reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart for the tally dated August 8.
That is the same chart positions her previous album, Tropicoqueta, occupied on its 2025 debut: No. 1 on Top Latin Albums, No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (Billboard). Matching those numbers with a self-released project adds a layer to the story — Bichota Records is Karol G's own imprint, meaning the album arrives without one of the three major labels (Universal, Sony or Warner) behind its distribution.
The album's guest list spans genres and languages. Bruno Mars appears on "Still," Drake on "Ahí," and Spanish artists Judeline and Rusowsky feature on "Bby Wow." Karol G spoke about the Mars collaboration in a TikTok post on August 7, the day the album arrived (Billboard).
Billboard's New Music Latin poll is a weekly reader survey in which fans vote for their favourite new release among a curated list. A 62-percent share is a decisive margin by any measure of that format. In a separate Billboard best-new-release poll from May 2025, Karol G's song "Milagros" took 45.71 percent of the vote, finishing ahead of Argentina's Maria Becerra (Billboard).
For fans, the poll win is a vote of approval from the audience the album was made for — readers who follow Latin releases closely enough to pick a weekly favourite. For the business, it confirms that Karol G's decision to release through Bichota Records has not cost her chart position or fan engagement. The numbers are the numbers, and they are strong.
