Karol G's 'No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto' Debuts at No. 1, Ending Bad Bunny's 77-Week Run Atop Latin Albums Chart

Karol G's sixth studio album No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto — "I Don't Regret Feeling So Much" — debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart dated Aug. 22, 2026, ending Bad Bunny's 77-week nonconsecutive reign with Debí Tirar Más Fotos (Billboard).

The album, released Aug. 7 via Bichotta/Interscope/Capitol, opened with 50,000 equivalent album units in the US for the tracking week of Aug. 7–13, according to Luminate. Equivalent album units convert streams and sales into a single album-sales measure; here, 48,000 of those units came from streaming (49.5 million on-demand streams), just over 1,000 from album sales, and a negligible number from track-equivalent units. The record also entered the Billboard 200 — the all-genre album chart — at No. 8, Karol G's fourth top-10 placement there, and hit No. 1 on Top Latin Pop Albums and No. 7 on Top Streaming Albums.

Thirteen tracks from the 14-song album landed on the Hot Latin Songs chart. "Ahí," a collaboration with Drake, led the pack with a No. 1 debut, powered by 5.9 million official US clicks; it also entered Streaming Songs at No. 46 and Latin Streaming Songs at No. 1. Two advance singles already on the chart moved in the album's wake: "Después de Ti" (with Greg González) rose 17–10, while "Matadora" slipped 4–3.

The No. 1 debut is Karol G's fifth consecutive album to open at the summit of Top Latin Albums, out of seven career chart entries. Only her first two releases missed: Unstoppable (2017) and Ocean (2019) both peaked at No. 2. Her five chart-toppers span KG0516 (April 2021), Mañana Será Bonito (March 2023, five weeks), Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) (August 2023), Tropicoqueta (July 2025), and now No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto.

That run puts Karol G behind only two women in the chart's history, which dates to 1993. Jenni Rivera and Shakira each hold seven No. 1 albums on Top Latin Albums, the most among female artists. Karol G now has five.

The album also won Billboard's fan vote for Best New Latin Music of the Week, earning more than 60% of the vote (Billboard). Karol G had announced the record on July 30, revealing its release date and cover art, and shared the full tracklist on her Instagram account ahead of release.

For fans of Latin music, the numbers tell a straightforward story: one of the genre's biggest streaming draws delivered a full-length that displaced another, and did so on the strength of nearly 50 million on-demand streams in a single week.
