The Love Island USA Season 8 reunion special streams on Peacock on Monday, August 31 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, bringing the islanders back together one last time after a season that broke the platform's viewing records. Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen return as hosts, the same pairing that anchored the Season 7 reunion a year earlier.

The reunion red carpet rolled out — pink, not red — at Universal Studios Hollywood on August 9, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, with photographer Katie Flores of PMC capturing the arrivals. Among those pictured: Aniya Harvey, Melanie Moreno, Trinity Tatum and Kayda Bosse, described as the season's "Core 4." The wider islander lineup on the carpet included Dylan Wrona, Kenzie Annis, Corbin Mims, Caleb McDaniel, Tierra "Titi" Davis, KC Chandler, Sean Reifel, Beatriz Hatz and Sol Dean.

Reifel's presence carried a small footnote: he was the first dumped islander of Season 8, meaning the first contestant voted off the show — and he came back for the reunion taping.

Peacock had opened the taping to free audience spots, with the winning couples joining hosts Madix and Cohen for the special, according to the platform's own announcement.

The numbers behind the season explain why the reunion carries weight for the streamer. Peacock reported that Love Island USA Season 8 tallied 19 billion minutes viewed since its June 2 premiere, making it the most-watched original TV season ever on the platform per NBCUniversal internal data. The series ranked as the top streaming reality series for five consecutive weeks. Peacock also said over 30% of the Season 8 audience were new viewers to the franchise — people who had not watched previous seasons before this one.

Cohen's return alongside Madix repeats a formula Peacock first tried in Season 7. The Season 7 reunion premiered on Peacock on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT, with Cohen tapped as a co-host alongside Madix. That reunion covered the previous crop of islanders; this one turns to a fresh set.

Madix, who also paid tribute to late Love Island USA producer James Barker during the season, continues as the face the franchise has built around since host Sarah Hyland's departure.

For fans, the August 31 special is the last stop before the cycle closes — the moment unresolved pairings, dumped islanders and winning couples face each other and the cameras one final time. Peacock confirmed the reunion will premiere exclusively on the platform.
