Seriesly Berlin Unveils 13-Series Premiere Line-Up for Third Edition
Seriesly Berlin has set a programme of 13 series premieres for its third edition, running September 14–17 across venues in the German capital, with shows from Paramount+, Disney+, Hulu, Sky and more on the bill Deadline.
The festival's industry conference runs September 15–16, with pitch sessions for writers, creators and producers at every stage of development Seriesly Berlin. A dedicated Seriesly Creators event follows on September 16 Deadline.
Among the headline premieres is City of Blood, a Disney+ Germany and Hulu original created by Philipp Kadelbach and Elena Lyubarskaya. Adapted from the graphic novel Berlinoir, the series is set in an alternative Berlin run by immortal vampires and follows sisters Bea and Phoebe as they uncover the city's hidden power structures Deadline. It stars Lena Drinda, Franz Hartwig, Lars Eidinger and David Schütter, and lands on Disney+ in Germany on September 16 Bloody Disgusting.
Paramount+ brings Jossi, a German dramedy from Dimitrij Schaad starring Jannik Schümann, Nilam Farooq and Thomas Loibl. The story follows a floundering actor who lies his way into a casting call reserved for Jewish performers Deadline.
The line-up stretches well beyond Germany. From Sweden comes Burden of Justice, a legal series from Snabba Cash writer Jens Lapidus set at a Stockholm law firm. Finland contributes Atlantis Pasila, a drama-comedy centred on a small bar in a brutalist Helsinki district. Brazil's Ayô, created by Lucas Oranmian, follows a young Black gay artist navigating love and career in São Paulo. Argentina is represented by So Far So Good, from filmmaker Daniel Burman Deadline.
The UK sends two titles: Film Club, created by and starring Aimee Lou Wood, and Sky drama Under Salt Marsh. Canada brings Shipwrecked, a body-positive comedy from Gabrielle Lisa Collard and Manal Drissi. Czechia's entry is Filter, David Semler's coming-of-age drama about two teenage boys in love. Switzerland accounts for two premieres — Sky's Beach Sisters documentary and crime drama The Angel Maker. Rounding out the slate is Clangold, Jan Zabeil's documentary about a spectacular German robbery Deadline.
For a festival now in its third year, the spread is striking: 13 shows from at least eight countries, scripted and unscripted, streaming originals and broadcaster dramas sharing the same programme. Seriesly Berlin pitches itself as both a public showcase and an industry meeting point, and the 2026 schedule keeps those two tracks running side by side — premieres for audiences, a conference and pitch sessions for the people who make the next round of shows Seriesly Berlin.
