Two days earlier, on Sunday, August 9, Stewart postponed his concert at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. The venue described the cause as "an unforeseen but minor medical procedure that required prompt attention," according to Billboard. Stewart's official Instagram account confirmed the postponement the same day, using similar language.
GB News reported that Stewart was taken to hospital for the procedure, resulting in the last-minute cancellation of a planned performance GB News. The specifics of the procedure have not been disclosed.
