The Tallest Man on Earth Announces New Album 'Just Beyond Endless Mountain'
The Tallest Man on Earth has announced his next album, Just Beyond Endless Mountain, set for release on October 9 via the Anti- label. Just Beyond Endless Mountain follows the 2023 album Henry St. and comprises 11 tracks: "The Wildest of His Dreams," "Colors," "We Got the Pony," "Scully, It's Me," "Just Beyond Endless Mountain," "Overboda," "Deliver Me From Trying," "Times," "The Forest Keeper," "In the Silver Wire Up the Hill," and "The Village" (Pitchfork).
Behind the album is a deeply local inspiration. Kristian Mattson, the Swedish singer-songwriter who records as The Tallest Man on Earth, grew up in Dalarna, a region in central Sweden whose traditional folk music shaped the record's direction.
