Lucy Davis, best known for playing Dawn Tinsley in the UK version of The Office, has shared that she is terminally ill. In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 53-year-old actress told her 590,000 followers that she has incurable cancer after discovering a lump on her breast (Deadline).

Davis was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer — the most advanced stage, meaning the disease has spread beyond the breast to other parts of the body. The cancer has metastasized to her bones, specifically her spine and right hip (Daily Mail). She is 53 years old (Evening Standard).
