Cardi B's 'AH HA' Debuts at No. 3 on Hot Rap Songs, Extending a 10-Year Top 10 Streak
Cardi B's single "AH HA" debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart dated Aug. 15, giving the rapper her 30th career top 10 on the chart and extending a streak of at least one new top 10 entry every year for a 10th consecutive year. The track, released at midnight ET on Friday, July 31 as Cardi B's first single of 2026, also entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 25 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 5, according to Billboard's chart beat coverage published Aug. 11. The numbers behind the debut are drawn from the July 31–Aug. 6 U.S. tracking week, as reported by Luminate, the data firm that powers Billboard's charts. "AH HA" opened with 9.5 million official streams, 5.6 million radio airplay audience impressions (a measure of how many people heard the song on radio), and 9,000 sales from physical CD purchases and digital downloads. It debuted at No. 3 on the Rap Streaming Songs chart and was the top-selling rap song of its week. On the airplay side, the single entered R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay at No. 29, Rhythmic Airplay at No. 34, and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay at No. 40. It also reached No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes chart, making it Cardi B's seventh solo song to hit that summit. Billboard
Cardi B's 30 career Hot Rap Songs top 10s place her level with Gunna for the 13th-best total on the 37-year-old chart. Drake leads all artists with 156. Among women, Cardi B ranks second behind Nicki Minaj, who has 51.
Her first Hot Rap Songs top 10 came nearly a decade ago, when "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" climbed 14–8 on the chart dated Aug. 26, 2017. That song later reached No. 1, the first of seven Hot Rap Songs chart-toppers Cardi B has notched to date. Her yearly top 10 counts since then read: three in 2017, four each in 2018 and 2019, one in 2020, two each in 2021 through 2024, nine in 2025, and "AH HA" so far in 2026.
The new single also gave a lift to her 2025 album Am I The Drama?, a former eight-week No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart. The album rebounded from No. 18 to No. 13, earning 13,000 equivalent album units — the metric that combines sales and streaming activity into a single album-sales figure — a 10% improvement that earned it Greatest Gainer honours for the week. Cardi B teased a potential "AH HA" remix with Kash Doll after Kash Doll posted a social-media clip of herself rapping along to the track, including the section where Cardi B shouts her out.
