Samsung TV Plus Renews Keanu Reeves Motorcycle Docuseries 'Hooligans' for Season 2
Samsung TV Plus has renewed Hooligans: The ARCH Racing Project with Keanu Reeves & Gard Hollinger for a second season, according to an exclusive report from Deadline on 13 August 2026. The renewal lands ahead of the Sunday finale of the show's six-episode first season, which premiered on 12 July.
The docuseries follows Reeves and Gard Hollinger — co-founders of ARCH Motorcycle, a custom motorcycle company — as they field a racing team in the MotoAmerica road racing series. Riders Corey Alexander and Jeremy McWilliams compete alongside the team, with cameras tracking the highs, setbacks and daily grind of professional motorcycle racing. It is the first original docuseries on Samsung TV Plus, the free ad-supported streaming service built into Samsung smart TVs and available on additional devices.
Salek Brodsky, SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus, called the series "a defining moment" for the platform. Takashi Nakano, VP of content and programming, said the goal was to get viewers intimately involved in the life of racing — not just the spectacle of race day but the work that fills the weeks between.
The show fits into a broader racing push by Samsung TV Plus. Earlier in summer 2026, the platform launched MotoAmericaTV, a 24/7 channel carrying more than 200 hours of race content. Hooligans was designed to complement that feed, giving the racing a human storyline rather than just a results ticker.
The series was first announced at Samsung TV Plus's 2026 NewFronts presentation in March, where the platform also revealed a live motorcycle racing broadcast deal and an advertising partnership with Amazon. A trailer dropped in June under the platform's "Exclusives" banner. Alongside Hooligans, that originals lineup includes Unlikely Romances, a four-part scripted anthology from Dhar Mann Studios.
V10 Entertainment produces Hooligans with Thank You Pictures and Trojan Horse Productions. Reeves and Hollinger star in and executive produce alongside Sharon Hollinger, Carter Skeath, Chance Wright, Rick DeOliveira and John Stevens. Alan Bloom serves as showrunner. Stevens, who is CEO of V10 Entertainment, said Samsung TV Plus gave the team room to tell the story and that they "cannot wait to share season two."
No premiere date or episode count for the second season has been announced.
