Mariah Angeliq has signed with Mr. 305 Records, the independent label founded by Pitbull, Billboard reported on August 13. The announcement arrived alongside the release of her new single, "A La Que Fui."

Barbara Rivas, head of label and artist development at Mr. 305 Records, is overseeing the signing, according to Billboard. The label, launched by the Miami rapper born Armando Christian Pérez, has been building a roster rooted in the city's Latin music scene. Montana Tucker was its first female signee in 2020, also confirmed by Billboard.

Angeliq, known as "La Princesa de Miami," was born and raised in Miami to Puerto Rican and Cuban parents. Her breakout came with the 2019 reggaeton track "Perreito," which peaked at No. 21 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and was certified two-times platinum by the RIAA — the Recording Industry Association of America, which certifies US sales milestones. She has also collaborated with Karol G on the song "EL MAKINON."

Her path to Mr. 305 follows an earlier major-label start. Angeliq was signed by Universal Music in 2018, releasing her first single, "Blah," that year before "Perreito" followed in 2019, according to BMI.

For Angeliq, the move places her at a label with direct ties to the artist whose "305" moniker doubles as Miami's area code — a geographic shorthand she already carries in her own nickname. The single "A La Que Fui" is now available on streaming platforms.
