Katseye Release 'Wild' EP and 'Hootie Frutti' Video as Two Members Sit Out

Katseye released their third EP, Wild, on 14 August 2026, alongside a music video for the track "Hootie Frutti" directed by Alfred Marroquin, who sets the group inside an underground Brazilian party. The five-song EP runs just over 13 minutes and also marks the group's first recording without member Manon Bannerman, who remains on hiatus. Another member, Sophia Laforteza, has announced her own hiatus citing mental health, per Rolling Stone.
The Wild tracklist is: "PINKY UP" (2:11), "Animal" (2:38), "Hootie Frutti" (2:16), "Bel Air" (3:31), and "That Way" (2:54), with durations reported by Complex. The group performed "Animal" on The Tonight Show to support the release. The "Hootie Frutti" video is available on Katseye's official YouTube channel.
Katseye debuted in 2024 and have moved quickly. Their second EP, Beautiful Chaos, arrived in June and included the tracks "Gnarly" and "Gabriela." At the 2026 Grammy Awards, the group earned nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Gabriela." A film, Katseye: Wild Hearts, had a theatrical release earlier in August.
The group's official store is selling Wild across multiple physical formats, including signed vinyl editions, member-version CDs for Daniela, Lara, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, and a trading card pack. The store also lists standard merchandise branded for the release.
Following the EP, Katseye will embark on the Wildworld Tour, opening in Dublin on 1 September and closing in Mexico City on 27 November. The route includes the O2 in London, the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, plus stops in Miami, Paris, Chicago, Boston, and Montreal.
Two members on hiatus means the touring lineup and promotional appearances will draw from a reduced roster. Neither the group nor their label has publicly specified a return date for Bannerman or Laforteza.
