DC's 'Lanterns' Lights Up the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles Premiere
The Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles rolled out the carpet on August 13, 2026, for the premiere of Lanterns, the HBO and DC Studios series that lands on screens two days later. Deadline
Leading the cast down the carpet were Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, the two actors at the centre of a show that DC Studios has described as an Earth-based detective story. Chandler plays Hal Jordan, a seasoned Green Lantern — the intergalactic peacekeeping force in DC's comics universe — while Pierre plays John Stewart, a new recruit. Jason Ritter, Poorna Jagannathan, Nathan Fillion, Jasmine Cephas Jones, David Denman, Garret Dillahunt, Darrell Britt-Gibson, and Frank Grillo all walked the carpet, according to Deadline's premiere gallery.
