Phoebe Bridgers Releases 'Lost Weekend' and a Bug's-Eye-View Music Video for 'I Can't Wait'
Phoebe Bridgers has released her third album, Lost Weekend, arriving 14 August 2026 on the Dead Oceans label. The 16-track, 52-minute record is her first solo album in six years, following 2020's Punisher. Alongside the album, she dropped a music video for the song "I Can't Wait," directed by Chris Maggio and Pablo Rochat, which depicts a day in Los Angeles from the perspective of a bug. Cameron Winter, frontman of the band Geese, features on backing vocals on "I Can't Wait." He is credited under the pseudonym "Son-John Johnson" and also contributed to a second track on the album, "Kill Me." (Rolling Stone)
Lost Weekend has been a long rollout. Bridgers released the single "Lost Boys" in June 2026, followed by an acoustic version in July after performing the song twice during surprise appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
