Stray Kids Land Ninth Billboard 200 No. 1 With 'THIS & THAT,' Tying the Rolling Stones
Stray Kids' album THIS & THAT has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated Aug. 22, 2026, earning 369,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending Aug. 13, according to Luminate. The Billboard 200 ranks the most-consumed albums in the US each week, combining traditional sales, streaming activity and track sales into equivalent album units. Of the 369,000 units for THIS & THAT, 357,000 came from traditional album sales — the act's best sales week ever and enough to also top the Top Album Sales chart. Streaming contributed 11,000 SEA units (the streaming equivalent album measure that converts plays into album sales), driven by 12.21 million on-demand official streams, while track-equivalent album units added 1,000.
All nine of Stray Kids' Billboard 200 chart entries have debuted at No. 1, a streak that began with ODDINARY in March 2022, when they became only the third K-pop act ever to top the all-genre tally. By 2024, when HOP launched at No. 1, Stray Kids had already become the first act to debut its first six Billboard 200 entries all at the summit.
With a ninth No. 1, Stray Kids now share second place among all groups in Billboard 200 history, tying The Rolling Stones. The Beatles lead all acts with 19. Stray Kids also extended their record for the most No. 1s on the Billboard 200 among groups this century, since 2000.
THIS & THAT logged the sixth-largest week for an album by units earned in 2026. In traditional album sales, it posted the second-largest week of the year, behind only the debut of BTS' ARIRANG, which sold 532,000 copies. The album's sales were bolstered by its release across 17 CD and vinyl variants — featuring collectible items such as photocards, posters and stickers, some randomised, including signed editions — alongside eight digital download variants.
Behind Stray Kids on the Billboard 200, Ariana Grande's petal fell to No. 2 in its second week with 82,000 units, down 72% from its No. 1 debut. Olivia Rodrigo's you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love held steady at No. 3 with 72,000 units, while Ella Langley's Dandelion remained at No. 4 with just over 70,000. Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem slipped from No. 2 to No. 5 with 70,000 units, and Noah Kahan's The Great Divide dipped one spot to No. 6 with 56,000.
Pooh Shiesty entered the top 10 at No. 7 with All Eyes on Shiest, earning 51,000 equivalent album units — his second Billboard 200 top 10. The album was released while Shiesty remains in jail awaiting trial on robbery and kidnapping charges.
