Stray Kids released their eight-track mini album THIS & THAT on August 7, 2026, at 1PM KST, with the album now available across streaming platforms including Spotify, where its tracklist preview surfaced ahead of release (Billboard; Spotify).

The album opens with the digital single "RUN IT," released online on June 24 as a pre-release track before being folded into the full mini album (JYP Entertainment). The song was written and produced by 3RACHA — the group's in-house production unit of Bang Chan, Changbin and HAN. According to Stray Kids' own statement, "RUN IT" traces a story of growth from humble beginnings to a journey expanding from "Seoul to the world," with a message of pushing past obstacles toward victory (Billboard).

The Billboard 200 — the weekly US album chart that ranks the most consumed releases across sales and streaming — has been especially kind to Stray Kids. All eight of the group's chart entries have debuted at No. 1, a streak that began with the mini-album ODDINARY in 2022. In 2024, they became the first act in the chart's 69-year history to debut at No. 1 with their first six entries. That streak has since extended through the albums KARMA and DO IT (Billboard).

The group's US sales footprint runs deeper than chart position. Following the 2025 release of the mixtape SKZ IT TAPE DO IT, Stray Kids became the K-pop act with the most RIAA Gold-certified albums — the certification the Recording Industry Association of America issues when a release ships or sells 500,000 units (Billboard). Industry recognition has followed: Top K-Pop Album at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, group of the year at the 2024 People's Choice Awards, and K-pop album of the year at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards (Billboard).

Live activity is moving fast alongside the release. Stray Kids are currently on the <RUN IT> world tour, which opened with Seoul shows on July 16–19 and reached Tokyo National Stadium in August 2026 (JYP Entertainment; JYP Entertainment). A digital album titled SKZ-REPLAY was also released on August 1 (JYP Entertainment).

Looking ahead, the group will become the first K-pop act to perform at and headline Rock in Rio, the long-running Brazilian festival. Before that, the STRAYCITY series of live performances will take them across Argentina, Colombia and Mexico, kicking off September 9 at the Vive Claro Distrito Cultural in Bogotá and wrapping September 25 at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City (Billboard).

For fans, the release caps a stretch in which Stray Kids have matched commercial dominance with an unusually visible online presence. A study by The Action Network ranked the group's fans as the happiest in music, based on sentiment analysis of more than 1.5 million comments across 106 music subreddits, with Stray Kids said to "radiate the most joy online" and leading by a three-point margin (Billboard).
