Bloomberg Media Launches Conversational Series 'Post Credits' Hosted by Ian Schafer, With Issa Rae Among First-Season Guests

Bloomberg Media is adding a new conversational series to its slate. Titled Post Credits, the show premieres September 8 at 8 p.m. ET on Bloomberg Originals, with a same-day broadcast at 10 p.m. ET on Bloomberg Television (Variety).
The series is hosted by Ian Schafer and produced by Ensemble, a Hoorae Media company. Schafer is co-founder and president of Ensemble. The production company emerged from his working relationship with Issa Rae and her team at Hoorae Media, a connection that led to Ensemble's launch (Variety; YouTube). Schafer previously founded and exited businesses focused on advertising, cultural relevance, and content distribution (LinkedIn).
Post Credits will feature conversations with creators, executives, entrepreneurs and cultural leaders about the intersection of the creator economy and Hollywood — the growing world of independent content creators who have turned audiences into businesses, and how that world collides with the traditional film and television industry.
The first episode features Tefi Pessoa, host of Love Island: Aftersun and an advice columnist for The Cut. The confirmed guest list for the inaugural season also includes Issa Rae, the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress, writer and producer who founded Hoorae and co-founded Ensemble. Rounding out the lineup: Laura Correnti, founder and CEO of Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment; Kid Mero, comedian and host of HOT 97's Mornings with Mero; Quincy Moore, president and CEO of New York or Nowhere; Shana Stephenson, chief brand officer of the New York Liberty; Kayvon Thibodeaux, New York Giants linebacker; and Christian Tom, founder of AND Media and former White House Director of Digital Strategy (Variety).
That guest mix spans sports, music, politics and entertainment — a reflection of how broadly the creator economy now touches industries that once had nothing to do with online content.
Bloomberg Originals is available on streaming platforms including YouTube TV, Samsung TV Plus, Prime Video Channels, LG Channels and Tubi, giving the series wide distribution beyond linear television. Bloomberg Media's cross-platform digital video and streaming viewership hit an all-time high of 73.7 million viewers in May 2026, up 44% year-over-year, according to Variety. That growth provides a sizeable audience base for a new unscripted title.
For Schafer, Post Credits is a return to the media-formation game after previous ventures, now with the backing of a financial-news giant and a production partner rooted in Hoorae's creative pipeline. For viewers, it is a new entry in the crowded talk-and-conversation format, arriving on a platform better known for business news than celebrity interviews.
