Playboi Carti Joins The Weeknd Onstage at Wembley Stadium for 'Timeless' and 'Rather Lie'

Playboi Carti joined The Weeknd onstage at London's Wembley Stadium to perform their collaborations "Timeless" and "Rather Lie," bringing the two tracks to a stadium crowd on the After Hours Til Dawn Tour. Billboard reported the joint appearance on August 19, 2026.
Carti has been serving as the opening support act for The Weeknd's five-night Wembley run, which kicked off on August 14. The residency at one of London's largest venues gives both artists a shared stage across consecutive nights, with gates opening at 5pm for each show. Time Out London confirmed the timings.
The Weeknd's 2026 setlist for the After Hours Til Dawn Tour runs to over 30 songs spanning his career, according to Billboard. The Wembley stretch wraps a five-night stand before the tour moves to Dublin for two shows at Croke Park on August 22 and 23.
The two songs performed together carry their own chart history. "Timeless" reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 — the flagship US singles chart that ranks tracks by a blend of radio airplay, streaming and sales — and held the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for two weeks. The Weeknd and Playboi Carti first unveiled the song during The Weeknd's one-night-only concert in São Paulo in September 2024, ahead of its official release later that month.
"Rather Lie," credited to Playboi Carti and The Weeknd, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart dated March 29, 2025, and climbed to No. 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Both tracks appear on Carti's 2025 album "Music," on which The Weeknd is featured.
After Dublin, the After Hours Til Dawn Tour continues with dates across Europe. The Weeknd's official tour page lists a show at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano — the stadium in Madrid formerly known as the Wanda Metropolitano — on August 28, 2026.
For fans who have followed either artist, the Wembley nights offer a rare chance to see two chart collaborators perform their hits in the same building on the same night. Carti's opening slot feeds directly into The Weeknd's headlining set, and the joint performances sit inside a setlist already packed with material from across a decade of releases.
